With the objective of assessing campus accomplishments, monitoring the implementation of Programs, Activities, and Projects (PAPs), and ensuring that the campus remains on track toward achieving its strategic goals, the Cagayan State University Solana-Lara Campus conducted its Midyear Performance Review on July 13–14, 2026 at Tree Tops Hotel, Tabuk City, Kalinga.
Facilitated by the Campus Planning Office, the two-day activity brought together campus officials to present their accomplishments for the first and second quarters of Fiscal Year 2026. Each office reported its performance against established success indicators and targets, highlighting completed initiatives, accomplishments, and measurable outcomes. For targets that were not fully achieved, presenters provided a root-cause analysis and outlined corresponding corrective action plans to improve performance in the succeeding months.
In her opening message, Campus Planning Officer Ms. Jane Singson underscored the importance of performance monitoring as a tool for accountability, continuous improvement, and evidence-based planning. She emphasized that the Midyear Performance Review enables every office to assess its progress, identify areas for enhancement, and align its initiatives with the University's strategic direction.
Meanwhile, Campus Executive Officer Dr. Ma. Haidee A. Mabborang commended all offices for their dedication and commitment in delivering quality services despite various challenges. She encouraged everyone to sustain the campus' culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation, reminding personnel that every accomplishment contributes to the University's vision of becoming a globally recognized institution.
Beyond evaluating accomplishments, the activity also served as an opportunity to strengthen teamwork and camaraderie among campus personnel. It provided participants with a chance to reflect on their collective achievements, exchange best practices, and enjoy moments of fellowship and recreation outside the workplace.
The Midyear Performance Review reaffirmed CSU Solana-Lara Campus' commitment to fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement—building not only outstanding academic programs and quality public service, but also a supportive workplace that values the well-being, growth, and professional development of its employees, ultimately contributing to a more vibrant and successful academic community.
