The Cagayan State University (CSU) Solana-Lara Campus has achieved a milestone as its Bachelor of Science in Criminology (BSCrim) program became the first in the campus to be granted a Certificate of Program Compliance (COPC) by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED).
This landmark achievement came after the Regional Quality Assessment Team (RQAT) visit conducted by CHED representatives on August 15, 2025, where the program was thoroughly evaluated for compliance with CHED’s academic standards and requirements.
The COPC affirms that the BSCrim program of CSU Solana-Lara adheres to the standards and policies set by CHED, ensuring quality education and training for future criminologists. This recognition highlights the University’s commitment to academic excellence and its dedication to producing graduates who are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and values needed to serve in the field of criminal justice.
All faculty, staff, and students celebrated this achievement as a groundbreaking step forward and a testament to the collective effort and dedication of the CSU Solana-Lara academic community.
