Following the recent success of its BS Criminology program, the Cagayan State University (CSU) Solana-Lara Campus has gained another academic milestone as the Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSIT) program has been officially granted a Certificate of Program Compliance (COPC) by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED).

The BSIT program now stands as the second program of the campus to secure COPC status, reaffirming CSU Solana-Lara’s growing commitment to academic quality and compliance with national standards.

The COPC signifies that the BSIT program fully complies with CHED’s policies, standards, and guidelines for IT education. It assures students and stakeholders that the program delivers industry-relevant competencies and maintains strong alignment with the University’s thrust in innovation, technology, and global competitiveness.

Faculty members and students of the BSIT program welcomed this development, considering it a source of inspiration to further strengthen their pursuit of academic excellence, research productivity, and technological innovation.

CEO Ma. Haidee A. Mabborang noted that this achievement not only elevates the reputation of the BSIT program but also reflects the collaborative efforts of the entire CSU Solana-Lara community in ensuring that its curricular offerings meet the highest quality benchmarks.
