Cagayan State University Solana-Lara Campus conducted the first batch of its 2026 ISO Internal Audit today, August 28, 2026, as part of the campus’s continuing commitment to maintaining and strengthening its quality management system. The audit was led by Atty. Frelia V. Palattao, Campus Administrative Officer and Lead Auditor, with the participation of designated campus auditors and the first batch of process owners. The activity provided an opportunity to assess existing processes, verify compliance with established procedures, and identify areas that may require further improvement.
During the audit, the process owners were given the opportunity to sit down with the campus auditors for proper guidance, clarification, and monitoring of their respective processes and documentary requirements. The collaborative approach allowed process owners to better understand the importance of maintaining accurate records and consistently implementing established procedures. Campus Executive Officer Engr. Ma. Haidee A. Mabborang, emphasized that ISO certification is not merely about passing an audit, but about developing a culture of consistency, accountability, and continuous improvement. She underscored that every office and every process owner has an important role in sustaining the campus’s commitment to quality service and ensuring that systems remain responsive to the needs of its stakeholders.
The conduct of the first batch marks another step in the campus’s continuing journey toward sustaining its ISO-certified quality management system. Through these continuing efforts, CSU Solana-Lara remains committed to addressing opportunities for improvement, and ensuring that quality and excellence are consistently reflected in the delivery of services to its students, faculty, personnel, and other stakeholders.
