New Academic Building Opens 6 Rooms for 500 Students by S.Y. 2024-2025

Six new rooms will be available for use by 500 students starting August 19, 2024, at the beginning of the 1st Semester of the School Year 2024-2025. These rooms are part of a new four-story academic building situated behind the newly inaugurated campus gymnasium.

Campus Executive Officer Engr. Ma. Haidee A. Mabborang stated in an interview that the opening of the six rooms will accommodate approximately 500 students from the three programs offered at the campus: Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEED), Bachelor of Science in Agriculture (BSA), and Bachelor of Criminology (BSCrim). "It is just in time," she said, adding that the new rooms will ease scheduling for both students and teachers. “Without these additional rooms, the campus might have resorted to online classes,” she added.

The high-rise building is one of the developmental projects of Congressman Joseph Lasam Lara and Dr. Zarah Lara for the campus. This was highlighted during the Second Founding Anniversary on June 18, 2024, where Congressman Lara also shared some of his visions for additional facilities, such as dormitories and laboratories, to benefit all students of the campus.

Meanwhile, Ms. Vicenta B. Maguddayao, Campus Academic Coordinator, also expressed relief and optimism about the additional rooms. "We are very grateful and excited about the new space. It will greatly enhance our students' learning experience," she said.

Currently, the campus has a total enrollment of 1,125 students, a number expected to increase as the opening of classes approaches.
