Campus Audit Enhances Service Quality and Operational Efficiency

Cagayan State University conducted an internal audit of the campus, a significant step towards the standardization of campus services, ensuring reliable and high-quality processes.
Campus Executive Officer, Engr. Ma. Haidee A. Mabborang, expressed her gratitude to all auditors for their time and effort in assisting the campus. She also congratulated the process owners for their diligent preparations for the audit.

“Let's use this opportunity to identify areas of growth and implement the necessary changes to enhance our service quality. Our clients are our top priority, and it is our duty to ensure they receive the best possible experience,” Engr. Mabborang said.

Atty. Carla Marie L. Sumigad, University ISO Focal Person, provided an overview of the audit's objectives, scope, and significance. Her presentation highlighted the importance of the audit process in achieving and maintaining high service quality standards.

Auditors thoroughly assessed all campus offices, reviewing processes and practices to ensure compliance with standards. This assessment provided valuable insights into areas of strength and opportunities for improvement.

The audit findings and observations were discussed in detail during the Auditor’s Conference. Ms. Laizel D. De Dios, the lead auditor, presented the key findings to all process owners, offering detailed feedback and recommendations. This guidance was crucial in directing process owners on necessary adjustments to enhance their operations.

Following the audit activity, CEO Mabborang held a briefing with all process owners. She facilitated in-depth discussions on each finding, encouraging immediate action on the auditors' recommendations. This proactive approach aims to ensure swift and effective resolution of identified issues, further strengthening the institution's operational integrity and service quality.
