BFP Region 02 Conducts Fire Safety Drill at CSU-Solana Campus

In a proactive effort to prioritize fire safety, the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) Region 02 Solana Fire Station recently conducted a Fire Safety Drill today at the Cagayan State University - Solana Campus. The initiative, led by SFO1 Rex M. Agpalasin and FO1 Dennis U. Baldos, aimed to reinforce essential fire safety measures among the campus community.

The drill underscored the importance of preparedness and vigilance in the face of potential fire emergencies. Participants, including faculty, staff, and students, were guided through various fire safety protocols and emergency response strategies. The comprehensive drill featured practical demonstrations on the use of fire extinguishers, evacuation procedures, and the importance of maintaining clear exit routes.

"We extend our gratitude to SFO1 Rex M. Agpalasin and FO1 Dennis U. Baldos for their efforts in sharing with us this important measure for fire safety. This drill serves as a vital reminder for all of us to remain vigilant and prepared in the face of any emergency," in her remarks, CEO Ma. Haidee A. Mabborang stated.

The BFP's initiative is part of their ongoing commitment to enhance fire safety awareness and preparedness across the region. Regular fire safety drills are crucial in equipping individuals with the knowledge and skills necessary to respond effectively in emergencies, ultimately saving lives and minimizing property damage.

As the CSU-Solana community continues to prioritize safety, the recent drill serves as a timely reminder of the importance of fire safety education and preparedness. The university encourages all members to stay informed and proactive in maintaining a safe environment.
