CEO Mabborang Vows Utmost Effort in Addressing COPC Findings

Following the Regional Quality Assessment Team (RQAT) and Office of Program Standards and Development (OPSD) evaluation conducted by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) on January 30, 2025, Campus Executive Officer Dr. Ma. Haidee A. Mabborang committed to exerting the campus’s utmost effort in addressing the findings and ensuring full compliance.

"We will do our very best to meet all COPC requirements because the future of our students depends on it,” Dr. Mabborang stated, emphasizing the urgency of securing the Certificate of Program Compliance (COPC). She reiterated that achieving COPC is not just a requirement but a commitment to delivering quality education.

Meanwhile, CHED head evaluator Mr. Rey S. Tuddao underscored the importance of the evaluation process, stating, "All efforts like this are ultimately for the benefit of our students. Ensuring compliance with CHED standards guarantees the quality of education they receive."

The evaluation covered three academic programs: Bachelor of Science in Criminology (BSCRIM), Bachelor of Science in Agriculture (BSA), and Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSIT). Campus Academic Coordinator Ms. Vicenta B. Maguddayao expressed confidence in the faculty and staff’s dedication to addressing the necessary improvements, noting that the visit provided valuable insights for institutional development.

The RQAT and OPSD visit served as a crucial step in CSU Solana-Lara's ongoing efforts to enhance its academic programs and institutional credibility. Campus deans and coordinators also reaffirmed their commitment to fulfilling the recommendations and ensuring the campus meets CHED’s quality assurance standards.
